Our final day in Yellowstone we went to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. We hiked Uncle Tom's Trail, and boy was it a workout. It's basically a bunch of stairs (about 300) straight down (and then straight back up) to get a close-up view of the lower falls. It was worth it but I was so embarrassingly tired after we got back to the top. It was an abnormally hot day, and my body was worn out from all of our previous hikes.
We also went to Painters Point to see the falls.
We spent the rest of our day looking at mud pots and pools.
On our way back to camp that evening we saw some lady Elk! My dad was really hoping to see a bull, but no luck this time.
Enjoying our campfire and last night in Yellowstone.
