My favorite thing, besides the great company of course, were the trees. They were green and bright yellow, and my camera came nowhere near capturing the brilliancy of the colors.
We ate lots of yummy food-thanks to Megan and Andrew (we definitely learned a few things about what and how to pack next time). Horseshoes were played, 4-wheelers were ridden, and lots of visiting occurred. We also tried to call in the elk by our campsite but were un-successful, so the men drove over the mountain to find some.
The only downer to the weekend were all the bees. They were everywhere and would not leave us alone! My poor nephew Jordan got stung on the cheek and a bunch of the adults got stung-one in the mouth even. It was not fun.
But overall, it was a great camping trip and we can't wait to go again!
